For someone who is new to the craft I have found this to be a useful book about the Summer equinox. It’s an over-sized paperback, 5 x 7 inches with 240 written pages.

I found it to be a very useful reference book. First of all they give you the background on the different sabbats. You are given the old ways and new ways of celebrating which I found interesting and enlightening. My favorite chapters were the Spells and Divinations, Recipes and Crafts. Both chapters gave me a lot to work on and do. I also found the Prayers and Invocation chapter useful. Newbies need help in figuring out what to say or at least I do.

There was also a list of rituals, of other helpful books and interesting facts about the sabbat.

I have found that the Llewellyn books are very useful and plan on getting the rest of the books in this series.
